For girls on the go!

Here’s how you can get the right look when you are in a hurry.
For girls on the go!
Are you one of those people who’s always in a rush in the morning, with barely enough time to wash your face, put on some clothes and head out the door? No matter how pressed you are for time, there are some quick fixes you can incorporate to keep you looking your best.
Fashion stylist Preeti Rajore says that it’s important to keep certain things in mind when you are a woman on the go.

She explains, “Keep your wardrobe well arranged as it helps you when you are short of time. It is better to keep your clothes properly ironed and hung neatly. If not, then stack more of plain tees or non-crease shirts. Stock a few black tops and dresses too as they always help.”
If you are someone who is always in a hurry, then fashion experts suggest you stock your wardrobe with simple and easy-to-wear garments. Fashion designer Pooja Choudhary adds, “Knits drape well and don’t require much ironing. If you are into jewellery, then keep some simple, yet attractive, office wear jewellery to accentuate your look.”
Make-up too plays a very important role. As make-up artiste Kingsey Tohen says, “Instead of foundation, opt for a tinted moisturiser. Use kajal as it will make your tired eyes look good or use an eye shadow that will make your eyes look brighter. Use make-up to not only look beautiful, but also to freshen your face up. Sexy and confident colours like red on your lips, can make you look good and comfortable in your skin, even when you are just up from your bed.” It’s always good to carry a bottle of cleanser and a moisturiser in your bag, along with other tools, in case you reach office with your skin looking dried out. Fashion stylist Prerna Bhatia also feels that it’s always better not to experiment with new outfits or overdo make-up, when in a hurry. She adds, “Stick to a basic and comfortable outfit that you have worn many times, instead of an outfit with lots of buttons or layers.”
Where footwear is concerned, instead of carrying the burden of a broken heel throughout the day and feeling bad about the incident later, it’s better to stick to chappals and flats. Manage time well and designate time to each task. Finally, on a quick note, don’t forget to keep safety pins in your purse for emergencies and a nice perfume to make you smell good.
